Scenario name: Human advance along the coast Summary: The human defences have been successful in checking the Martian invasion. The humans have taken the attack to the enemy. The date is 1900 The humans have set up a defensive line North of Liverpool in the Lake District stretching across the Pennines to the Wolds. They have successfully fortified this area and have managed to check the Martian invasion. The Martians made no attempt to attack this defensive wall but have attempted to build their forces and improve their technologies until they had sufficient strength to roll back the human forces. This strategy was a mistake. The humans have used this time to build up their own forces untilthey have been able to overwhelm anything the Martians have put up against them. The Martian technological superiority is nothing in comparison to human courage and strength. The Humans have used their naval vessels to launch a series of combined assaults on the East Coast, there is very little left in reserve. The Royal Navy has been able to launch long range raids against the Martian held areas. Frantic efforts are being made to fortify the areas recently taken from the Martians. Difficulty: This scenario is easy. From this position you should be able to walk through the Martians. You have the offensive. Dean Beedell 2004 END
